The annual plant sale is an online preorder sale. Plant information and online ordering are available by April 1st. All orders and payments are due by no later than Sunday, April 19. There will be two pickup dates this year. Orders will be loaded right into your car by garden club volunteers when you drive up to the Blacksmith Shop.
Hanging baskets, patio pots, and herb planters will be available for pick up on Monday, May 4 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Hill Farm (35 Hill Farm Circle).
All remaining herbs, vegetables, and annual plants will be available for pick up on Thursday, May 7 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., also at the Hill Farm.
This year the Garden Club is working with four local growers to provide an extensive selection of premium, competitively priced hanging baskets, patio pots, herbs, vegetables, and annuals.
The Garden Club would like to thank the North Oaks community for its continued support as proceeds from the plant sale are used for many community projects, including the annual holiday boughs and seasonal entrance pots.
New Items for 2026
Many new hanging basket and patio planter combinations. Selections for sun and shade preferred locations are available. Preorder form describes plants in each combination. Hanging baskets are 10 inch. Patio planters are 12 inch.
Hypoestes (Polka Dot Plant) - New color "White Splash" available in 2026. Also available in "Rose Splash". This is a great plant for shady areas. Comes in a jumbo 6 pack annual. Sun preference: partial shade to shade.
Heliotrope - Fragrant and bold in color. Clusters of small star-shaped flowers. Available as an individual potted annual. Sun preference: Full sun to partial shade.
Cordyline Red Sensation - A great tropical thriller. Sun preference: Sun to partial shade.
Canna Red Golden Flame - Sun loving with impressive flowers. "Red Golden Flame" is a new color available in 2026. The Canna "Gold Leapard" is also available to order. Comes as an individual potted annual. Sun preference: Sun.
Grasses - Papyrus (Dwarf Cyperus) QueenTut - a wonderful thriller option. Beautiful in the breeze. Available as an individual potted annual. Sun preference: Sun.
Gaura - Ballerina Rose. Available as an individual potted annual. Sun preference: Sun.
Lisianthus Julietta - Rose-like flower available in white and pink. Available as an individual potted annual. Sun preference: Full to part sun.
Tomatoes - Dark Star - New blight resistant tomatoes with heirloom flavor. Available in 3 1/2" pot. Sun Preference: Sun.
Portulaca Mega Pazazz - Available in vibrant fuchsia, orange and yellow. Comes as an indivdual potted annual. Plants are heat tolerant. Sun preference: Sun.
Vegetable - Howden Pumpkin - Great for Jack-o'-lanterns. Available in 3 1/2" pot. Sun preference: Sun.
