The North Oaks Garden Club is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. Funds supporting garden club activities are raised primarily through the annual plant sale and member dues. These funds help support activities such as garden club education programs, the annual tour of gardens and beautification projects within the community.
Each year the Garden Club will consider grant proposals to support additional projects. In order to be considered, projects should align with the mission of the garden club. Mission-aligned examples include community-based beautification projects, educational activities focused on gardening, natural habitat preservation and related environmental research.
Please note that if a proposed project is on land owned by the North Oaks Home Owners Association (NOHOA), it must be approved by NOHOA prior to funding. If ongoing maintenance is required for a proposed project there must be a maintenance plan accompanying the proposal.
